About Yasmin

Hi, I’m Yasmin — and I’m so glad you’ve found your way to this little corner of the internet.

My photography journey began over 14 years ago when I picked up my first Nikon DSLR shortly after my oldest son was born. Since then, I’ve had the honor of photographing countless families, expecting mamas, newborns, children, seniors, engagements, weddings, events, and more.

In addition to being a photographer, I hold a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and have spent 22 years as an elementary public school teacher. Working with children of all ages, personalities, and temperaments is second nature to me. Whether a child is shy, energetic, cautious, silly, or somewhere in between, I meet them exactly where they are — with patience, understanding, and a calm, playful approach that helps them feel safe and seen.

I’m also a mama to two boys (ages 7 and 15) and a wife to a music teacher, so family and creativity are at the heart of everything I do. Art and storytelling have always guided my work, and photography continues to inspire me more than anything else.
